The bride's world is a very special world and orchids are a part of it. Orchids are no longer just the playthings of the rich, they are now readily available for all people. It may also signify the beauty of the couple's sacred relationship.
Orchids are wilt resistant, as mentioned above. This means that they can end the dog days of summer. But there are quite a few additional reasons for using orchids as wedding flowers. They are rugged in ways that allow them to end conditions that other flowers would not be capable of. Orchids do not like cold weather, but they can otherwise put up with all kinds of shipping conditions if and when they need to be ordered from some far-away source. Most types of orchids can be ordered through the year. And another good thing about orchids is that they can be purchased in large quantities. If at all possible, you may go straight to the drawer. This way you can even safe some money by eliminating the middle men.
