Five Halloween Movies that aren’t Scary to Watch with your Significant Other.

Going out is great, but staying in can be just as much fun.

If you’re not in to scary movies, you’re not alone. We don’t all love to get the creeps and the crawls, but we still love Halloween, so we created this list of non-scary Halloween movies just for you.

Here are five Halloween movies that aren’t scary to watch on your cozy night in with your significant other.

Halloweentown

This Disney cult classic will definitely make you feel like a kid again. In the film, Marnie Piper finds out that her grandmother has been hiding a HUGE secret from her. Marnie and her siblings must embark on a dangerous mission to save Halloweentown and their family before time runs out.

Hocus Pocus

Can you go wrong with Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker? That was a rhetorical question, because the answer is always: absolutely NOT. This 1993 film follows Max Dennison as he lights a candle on Halloween night, unleashing three powerful witches onto modern-day Salem.

The Little Vampire

This Halloween comedy will have you laughing, appreciating the picturesque Scottish countryside, and wanting to move into an old castle in search of mystery. Chase vampires and solve a hundred-old mystery with 9-year-old Tony Thompson as he searches for the truth behind his strange dreams.

Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire

Another Disney Channel win, Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire, is a seasoned favorite of our staff. Before Tinder and other dating apps, Adam and his sister Chelsea had to scroll the wanted ads to find their mom a date so they can have the night to themselves. What they fail to realize is that they actually set their mom up with a vampire. Oops.

Practical Magic

Practical Magic

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman shine in this 1990’s film based upon the novel of the same name. Bullock and Kidman are witches who must face their demons and fears to find true love.

And there you have it! We’re off to make some popcorn and possibly find some pumpkins to carve…it’s all just a bunch of Hocus Pocus right?
