You also need to think of the wedding venue. If it will be held in a church or a hotel, you need to hide with the dress code and choose a dress which is more on the conservative and traditional side. However, if you have a different and informal setting for your wedding, you can choose dresses which are also informal and show your personality well. The weather should also be considered.
