The 1980s were good times in the United States. The nation was at peace and terror threats and attacks were things that did not happen back then to the country. When we think back to the 80's we think of new wave, big hair, pac man, Dallas, Ronald Reagan and remember the wedding of Charles and Diana. The 1980's were pretty laid back times and the economy was not doing half bad either.
If you are feeling a bit nostalgic for those days, why not pick up a couple of 80s movie T shirts? There sure were some good flicks out back then with the likes of 'Back To The Future', The Breakfast Club ',' The Blues Brothers', 'The Ghostbusters' and' The Empire Strikes Back ', just to mention a few of the most memorable.
Madonna was probably the hottest female pop star of that decade and today you can purchase 80s costumes that are perfect for when you attend or throw a 1980s theme party. The hard rock band KISS was hugely popular in the 80's and Gene Simmons and the band is still together today and going as strong as ever. KISS costumes are readily available and would be a blast to have to wear out to a hard rock club or to a 80s theme party. Speaking of 80's costumes, the gals can dress up like rock divas from the 80s by buying costumes or by putting 'the look' together themselves. This can be done pretty easily just by visiting your local second hand or thrift shop.
There are some awesome 80s T shirts that are on the market today that feature some of the other big acts from back then including AC / DC, Iggy Pop, U2, Prince, Michael Jackson and Depeche Mode. Who can forget the charity rock concerts that hundreds of thousands of fans attended and were grateful to seeing all of the biggest names in music on one stage? Concerts such as Live Aid, Band Aid and USA for Africa were historical and monumental events. If you are into the 1980s and miss those times and the great entertainment of those days, why not considering collecting 80s T shirts? There are many popular television shows from then such as Sanford and Son, The Cosby Show, Hill Street Blues and Roseanne. You can easily find these shirts today and they are well, frankly, just plain fun to have and to wear.
