4. A small jar of a locally made jam, preserves, honey, maple syrup, candies or anything that is homemade in the city where you are being married make great remembrances of your wedding day.
5. Gourmet chocolate-covered coffee beans placed in decorative tins and sealed with a personalized seal is great for coffee lovers.
6. You may send your guests home with a mini wine bottle. If you can make it the same as the wine you serve at your reception it would be great.
7. Give out Chinese take-out boxes of homemade granola for something really good and good for you. Seal the boxes with your monogrammed seals. It makes a very good snack or a tasty bowl to start your morning.
8. Unusual flavored sea salts in small jars appeal to most people. There are instructions on the internet for making them such as basil, rosemary and many other choices.
9. Caramel popcorn balls with a good chocolate drizzled on them and sprinkled with nuts if you wish. Wrap them in cellophane and tie with your own personalized ribbon for a guest pleaser.
10. Gourmet Chinese fortune cookies are a fun favor. There are many sites on the internet that you may check out and everyone loves to crack open a fortune cookie. You can customize them with your theme colors, a favorite flavor or have them just plain and simple. Package them in a theme favor box or cellophane and tied with pretty ribbon.
You should plan your favors so they coordinate with your wedding day colors. It is nice to include a bit of "yourself," like a monogram or your wedding day theme.
