[ad_1]

Many of the beauty pageant tricks that winners pull out to take the crown are actually just bits of insider knowledge that comes with experience or knowing someone higher up in the industry. This does not mean you get crowned for who you know, but for what you know!

Here are a couple beauty pageant tricks that often make the difference between the girl who walks off with the crown and the girl crying about a lost opportunity backstage. It turns out much of what a beginning conformant thinks is the opposite of the truth.

# 1: The skinniest girl does not always win

This is the most important of all beauty pageant tricks and it involves making your body look as if it is in tip top shape even if it is not. There is an assumption that the skinniest or most fit girls win, especially when it comes down to the swimsuit contest.

The truth is that girls who are far from fit and fab often win the biggest pageants! Why? Because they know how to make their bodies look great by downplaying their flaws and highlighting their best features.

You should always try to eat as healthy as possible and workout healthfully prior to a pageant, but you also need to select dresses and swimsuits which put your best features on display.

# 2: Your talent does not have to bring the crowd to their feet

This is another one of the more important beauty pageant tricks because there is so much stress and anxiety over coming up with something original. There is this assumption that you have to be really good at this talent or you will leave a bad impression with the sentences.

The truth is judges are looking for confidence, originality, and personality when they look at a girl's talent. They want to see that you are giving it your all and that you feel completely confident in your talent. Come up with something that is really you and there is no need to worry about impressing the judges.
