Bridal Beauty Tips for a Las Vegas Wedding

[ad_1]

Ah, Las Vegas weddings! One of the most talked about wedding destinations for brides and grooms and elopers. There are an estimated 315 weddings per day in Las Vegas – that's a lot of "I Do's."

But before you book your airline ticket and make an appointment at the Little White Wedding Chapel, there are some beauty considerations to think about for women in advance of a decision to tie the knot Vegas style.

Las Vegas is in Nevada. It is a city created up from the dust of a desert. Deserts are dry. VERY dry. You see where we're going with this? Your skin might not be a happy camper in Las Vegas. And if your skin is not happy will you, the bride, be happy there?

I can only speak for myself, but every time I go to Vegas my skin looks like poo. It feels like it's cracking and starts to get dry and irritable in no time. The bad lighting in most hotels on the Vegas strip does not help either – but when I look in the mirror there, I see a red face and I feel icky. Before I can even hit a slot machine, gamble or take advantage of all Vegas has to offer, I usually find myself making an emergency run to the drug store to buy skin lotion.

Everyone has different skin types and tolerances. Some women glow in a dry climate and love it. I learned quite quickly I am not one of them. If you are not one of them either, consider a Las Vegas wedding with caution. After all, a bride wants to look beautiful on her wedding day. And I can say for myself, I do not feel beautiful when I "m in Vegas. I feel like I want to throw a bag over my head – not a great look for walking down the aisle.

If you do settle on a Las Vegas wedding be sure to keep your beauty regiment as consistent as possible. Translation – pack ALL your skin cleansers, creams and beauty potions with you! The shampoos, soaps and conditioners found at most hotels are extremely dry so bringing all your own everything. You'll also want to consider stepping up the hydration in advance. The last thing you want is to get to Vegas and have to spend a small fortune on more make-up and beauty supplies (at Vegas prices that could be equal to a second honeymoon).

Plus, you do not want to be trying new products in a new climate on the largest day of your life.
