The Clarins skin care product range has been around for over 40 years. Their eminent reputation is based on moisturizing and anti-aging face creams and they're a favorite of a lot of women worldwide. But have Clarins products become out-of-date and overly expensive? Are Clarins skin care products worth what you have to pay?
Clarins Moisture Quenching Hydra-Care Cream – 4 stars
1.7 oz (50 ml), $ 56
If you've badly dry skin you'll love this. This face cream helps your skin stay sylphlike and moisturized all day, even during the wintertime months, and will keep your complexion looking young and smooth. However, it's not for women with normal or combination skin, who will probably find it overly greasy.
Clarins Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate – 1 star
0.53 oz (15 ml), $ 72
We did not like this Clarins eye cream. They claim that it makes you appear younger by lifting the skin around your eyes. Our tester felt it simply made her eyes appear puffy, as though she had an awful night's sleep. She does have sensitive skin only there are some better eye creams in our opinion. Save your money for something else.
Clarins Advanced Extra Firming Neck Cream – 5 stars
1.7 oz (50 ml), $ 76
This is a fantastic firming cream for the neck region that should smooth out fine lines and attend a more flexible feeling to the skin, as though you've had a non-surgical face lift. Clarins are adept at formulating products for specific areas of the skin and this one is no exception. Anticipate beginning to experience results after two or three days.
Clarins Energizing Morning Cream – 4 stars
1.7 oz (50 ml), $ 56
This is a superb moisturizing cream for daily use and will keep your skin smooth and supple throughout the day. Appropriate for near all skin types, hydrates well without showing or feeling oily, and smells very nice as well. The only grounds for giving it four stars rather than five is that it does not give sun protection and you'll want sunblock on top in summertime.
Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch – 5 stars
0.53 oz (15 ml), $ 27.50
Smooths out the complexion to reduce wrinkles and expanded pores and assist you to apply your make-up evenly. Use it below your regular make-up base for an extra-smooth complexion. Not essential for youngish skins unless you've many blemishes but highly recommended for women over forty. Will make almost all faces look perfect in a matter of minutes and lasts all day. It's a little pot but it spreads well. Try it!
Generally Clarins offer a wonderful range and with few exceptions they're reasonably priced when you consider you can pay as much for something rather low-grade. Clarins do an expert job of maintaining your face and body hydrated, smooth and as youthful looking as you are able to hope for. We especially urge you to go ahead and try out the Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch and Clarins Extra Firming Neck Cream, particularly if you're over forty or starting to notice fine lines on your neck.
