Most of the time bathing means showering and it's really just about getting clean. Here, we're taking about the luxurious, relaxing kind of bathing. Bathing which is as much about the spirit as the body.

First, set the mood. Select soothing music that makes you smile. You might consider a small plate of chocolates and a glass of red wine. Next, light the candles. Lots of candles, so that you can turn off the lights. Choose your favorite bubble bath or bath salts. Fill the tub with water that's the perfect temperature. Now, sink into the water, relax and let all the worries of the day float away. Drift, dream and rejuvenate. Now, that's the way to celebrate the day.

For a soothing bath, just add 1/4 cup vanilla extract to your bath water.

For a milk bath, add 1 cup powdered milk to help soften your skin.

For a calming bath, add rose or lavender petals to your bath.

Fix Up Your Feet
Mix eight strawberries, two tablespoons of olive or corn oil and one teaspoon of kosher salt. Mix into a paste, being careful not to over blend. Massage into your feet, rinse and relax.

1 cucumber

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

1 egg white

2 Tablespoons oatmeal

2 Tablespoons powdered milk

1 Tablespoon honey

Blend all ingredients together in food processor or blender. Smooth gently onto face, and allow to remain on for five minutes and rinse off.

Foot Soak and Scrub
3 Tablespoons sliced ​​almonds

1 Tablespoon honey

1/2 cup coconut milk (canned, available in most grocery stores)

1 lemon, cut in half

Kosher salt or coarse raw sugar

In a small bowl, combine the honey, almonds and milk. Fill a container large enough to soak your feet with hot water (bath temperature.) Pour the coconut milk and honey mixture into hot water and mix. Soak your feet for a few minutes to get them soft, then dip the lemon halves in the salt or sugar and rub them on your feet to exfoliate.
