Spray Tan Tips – Tips For Spray Tan Beauty

[ad_1]

Skin tanned to a perfect tint for your body is something wonderful to give and gives an alluring style. However, getting a standard tan from the sun opens you up to health hazards and burns. At one time, the tube tan became popular, but it left many with skin the color of an aging orange, streaked and uneven. Even celebrities have been laughed at on national television for their orange glow.

Tanning beds have been an option; However, the first question a dermatologist is going is ask is, "Do you have a history of tanning bed use?" The cost of tanning beds and the health risks are two negatives that are not worth the "glow" we all desire. Thankfully, spray tans have made it possible for you to avoid the orange, and the damage all together. Spray tans can be done in just a few minutes and give an even, over all beautiful color to anyone. It is simple, it is easy and it is fun.

Before you step into the tanning salon, you need to prepare your skin. Use a good exfoliate to remove dye skin and dry skin from your body. You can shower the evening before with a good soap and a good exfoliate scrub or sponge. Be sure to scrub all joint areas so they are in the best shape possible. Shave the body in any area you normally shave. Do not use lotions or creams to soften the skin. Once this is done, you spray tan should come out wonderful and even with just the right tint.

When applying self tanner, make sure you are not wearing jewelry, unless you want the imprint of the design on your skin. After the tanner is applied and has discharged, do not wear clothing that will rub against your skin. Tight wait bands and materials that rub, will insure that the inside of your clothing is a nice bronze color, while your body is left with bands of white. If you have not already, pull your hair back and up so that it does not get in the way or rub on your back. You should check with your tanning clerk for any more information regarding their particular service and type tanners that they use. Usually, you will have to wait at least 8 hours before showering, and after that you can wear any type of clothing you desire.

If you want your tan to last as long as possible, be careful about how and when you take a shower. Give your tan some time to set. Showering after 8 hours is a general safe time; however, waiting longer, if possible, is always the better option. When you shower, keep it short and do not use any harsh soaps, and do not use a loofah of wash cloth. Exfoliating is not something that will extend the life of your tan. After the shower, pat yourself dry with a towel, do not rub with the towel, this is another form of exfoliatling, and your skin will still be moist and easir to remove with little effort.

While your skin is subtle just after the shower, this is the time to moisturize. Spray tanning can cause the skin to dry out, so a great body lotion is a great investment. The lotions that are sold at the tanning salon are nice products, and specifically designed to make our tan last longer. Drug store lotions are more economic replacements that achieve the same results. If you choose to buy at the drug store, select products that contain natural ingredients. There are some chemicals, that are designed to aid in absorption, but can bleach out the skin, this is a side effect that you will want to avoid! Whichever lotion you decide to use, apply a couple of times after your first shower. Once you have fired the first time and have moisturized a couple on several occasions, continue to be gentle and moisturize the skin.

By following these simple tips, you can maintain the ultimate in great skin color and tanning for special occasions or just because you love the way it looks.
