The Flowing Romantic Wedding Gowns – Tips to Find the Perfect Wedding Gown

[ad_1]

The bridal gown is the essential part of the wedding for the bride because all eyes are going to be on her, and her gown is going to be speaking volumes about her personality, beauty and charm. And of course you cannot forget the fact that she is going to be shot a lot, (was referring to the wedding videographer and photographer!), to create some beautiful and wonderful memories to cherish later on in life.

Wedding gowns: Different Colours and Shades

Wedding dresses typically cannot be found in pure white but are available in various shades of white. They are usually found in light, medium, and dark ivory shades, but for brides looking to infuse more colour into their wedding gowns, designers give you options of pinks, reds, silver and blues among others.

Find the Right White for you

For fair-skinned brides – Slipping into yellow toned ivory gowns is the best option. It would be a good idea to stay away from pure white as this colour can make you appear pale and tired in photographs.

For medium toned brides – Those of you who are pinkish or have radiate a blue undertone, a creamier shade of white will work magic on you. It means you can wear the most popular shade of wedding gown which is Ivory. This shade will prevent you from looking too flushed and will balance your complexion beautifully.

Olive skin tone – For those who have an olive skin tone like Jessica Alba, whites with a pink undertone will give you a natural dewy look. Your best bet would be champagne, silk white or rum white.

Dark skin tone – For all you lovely dark-skinned brides, you are in luck because you can carry off any shade of white, but if you have yellow undertones keep away from yellow ivory tones.

Wedding Gowns that Accentuate your Figure

When you visit a bridal store, you will find a wide selection of dresses in various fabrics, designs and pattern, but the ones that look good on display or a hanger may not always bring out the best in you.

Hourglass maidens – Show off those sexy curves with body clinging mermaid wedding gowns that will enhance your feminine beauty. But steer clear of ruffles and tiers and you will look like a million dollars!

Pear shapes – You can benefit from wedding dresses with A-line or ball gowns that will glide over the curvy lower and gowns with embellishments at the waist will make the eye focus on the upper part of your body.

Apple figures – They look best in gowns that have a corset bodice with an open neckline like a wide v-neck or an off-the-shoulder to help balance out a full bust line. You will need to shape your waistline with a crystal belt or a ribbon to define those lovely curves.

Boyish frame – Boyish figures can be given some curves by adorning gowns with volume and features at both the chest and hips, something like a princess gown to help create the illusion of an hourglass silhouette.

Most of the bridal stores in the country have wedding gowns to suit every unique bride, and you have to keep in mind that when shopping for a gown you should select the one which symbolises you and your personality.
