[ad_1]

Thinking of going baldy? Well, its a "hairstyle" on its own alright. So, here I have a collection of tips on how to shave your head. Here goes:

Use olive oil when you use electrical hair trimmer. This is because olive oil is better for the scalp especially when there is cut on the scalp.

Do not use disposable razors because they wear off too quickly.

Buy a proper hand razor from companies such as Gillette. Then, always shave with a sharp blade.

If your head is filled with hair, use electric razor to trim off your hair before using a hand razor. Shave close to your scalp from the side or the back of your head.

Moist the hair and scalp so that they are soft before shaving. This is helpful in avoiding razor burns and cuts.

It is easier to shave your head after a shower. This is because both hair and scalp are already wet for a few minutes. You will need less shaving cream as well. Apply shaving cream on small areas so that it does not melt too quickly.

If you are shaving over the sink, splash water on your hair and scalp or wrap a hot towel over your head for a few minutes. Then apply about half an inch of on the head. Only start shaking 5 minutes after that.

To reduce the risk of razor burns and cuts, do not shave over the same area for a few times.

Long strokescan be made if your hair is short.

Make smaller strokes about less than half an inch if your hair is log or just being trimmed.

Blades are best at the toughest area, so shave from the area where hair is the thickest. Then, finish off with a lighter area,

Wet the razor with hot water at the beginning of the shaving session . Then make a stroke about an inch long on the starting point. Only then, different strokes can be made. This is helpful in giving you a close shave.

New beginners will use mirror most of the time. But, once you are an expert in shaving your hair all you need is your touch.

You can identify the areas you've missed by running your fingers over your scalp. Then, shave the area you've missed. Do not shave over a few times as it will cause razor burns and cuts.

Wash your head and dry off.

If you were cut during the shaving process, apply some Vitamin E on the scalp to help the healing.

You can also use pure aloe vera gel to soothe and make the skin shine.

Take it slow when it comes to shaving. If you shave in a rush, you will suffer from a few cuts.

After shaving, you will feel different as your scalp is sensitive and is bare to sun, rain and wind. It will make you feel different.
