Uniforms are a vital part of our working lives. Imagine walking into your local branch of a supermarket chain and not being able to identify who was a member of staff from the clientele, or what about if you walked into your local branch of kwik-fit and you could not tell who to speak to about getting your car booked in.
Uniforms have played a vital role in all forms of work wherever it is beauticians wearing their beauty tunics, pilots wearing their distinctive shirts with epaulettes or army members wearing the characteristic camouflage kit, uniforms help us to easily recognize individuals in emergencies. If someone collapsed in the street and you saw someone resembling a doctor walking past you would be likely to call out to them for help.
Some uniforms may seem slightly less necessary than others, obviously doctors uniforms are designed to be highly recognizable and also show up any signs of blood, dirt or mess. It is also a case that pilot's uniforms have been specifically designed to provide the occupants with as much support and assistance as possible in the high g-force surroundings of the cockpit. However, when you initially look at beauty tunics the reason for having such a top might not be so interested.
Beauty tunics have been designed to provide the person wearing them with an unleveled amount of freedom, whilst at the same time providing them with a uniform which can be easily maintained. The fabric is designed to be easily washable and dry quickly, while like doctors jackets most beautiful tunes are designed in colors that embises dirt and grime.
Although there may be no set uniform for beauticians you will find that most of the profession follows the beauty tunics example that is common place. It is probably easier to buy a set of uniforms and wear those to work in than ruining your own clothes as being a beautician can be a very messy business.
Of course there is the other aspect of uniforms and that is the myth that women or men for that matter can not resist a person in uniform. Almost something about the uniform and maybe the fact that we associate that profession with having a certain amount of power apparently turns certain people on. Obviously this is the same for everyone, but there is no doubt that there certainly is a small proportion of the female population that finds firemen completely irresistible.
Uniforms spark a variety of emotions of in people and that is what makes them so fascinating.
