The Medieval Age is a much loved time of UK history with its famous tales of King Arthur, Merlin and Robin Hood with the proportional castles, knights and soldiers. So why not be a valiant knight or soldier yourself, or a medieval king, queen, prince or princess? Or that famous Nottingham fellow – Robin Hood, the so called Prince of thieves who stop from the rich to give to the poor? You could also be a common person, a wench, a monk, or witch or wizard.

Another popular theme of costume to wear is "cowboys and Indians" themed outfits, from a period of USA history that has had a whole movie niche of its own based around it. Or another similar us vs them style themed costume can be found in the cops and robbers range of outfits. These kind of outfits are great for any team themed fancy dress parties where two sides are to face off or race to complete some task or mission before the others do.
