If you have chosen a summer wedding date, why not take advantage of the season and use nature-inspired items to accessorize your big day?
Incorporating fresh flowers is one of the easiest ways to create a striking look for the wedding photo albums. Luckily, plenty of beautiful options are in season. Gerbera daisies, sunflowers, hydrangeas, chrysanthemums and irises are only some of your many options.
Many summer brides will want to hold their ceremony or reception outside – and for good reason. If you want a cozy, intimate look for the wedding albums, why not tie the knot right before sunset, then have guests dance the night away surrounded by romantic candles and torches? Strings of white Christmas lights are another inexpensive way to add a glow to the evening. If you are tying the knot in a beach ceremony, the backdrop may be decoration enough. At the reception, you can scatter shells across the tables or use a variety of beach wood and glass to create unique centerpieces.
Meanwhile, if your nuptials are taking place at a farm or vineyard, you may want to accessorize using the bounty of seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables to create a lush “back to nature”-inspired theme.
Or go one step further and place green plants or small pots of growing herbs in the middle of each table. Small fruit trees can also be incorporated into the reception area – this may also provide small bursts of color to the photos in the wedding albums.
Don’t forget to apply your summer inspiration to your wedding color palette. If you are a fan of pastels, choose complementary shades of pink and coral. Bolder brides may want to opt for deep orange or lime, while more traditional couples could opt for sage green or lavender.
