Getting Dressed For Your Wedding

[ad_1]

When you go to get dressed on your wedding day, you will be amazed at what you have other then the dress. Many brides do not realize just how much there is, they just think shoes and dress, but oh how they are wrong.

Here I have compiled a list of things you will be wearing. Most brides will not wear everything on this list but a great major will wear at least half or more of these things.

Brassiere-A lot of dressers have one built in, put if it does not you will need to be prepared with a good support bra that does not show through the dress. You may also want to consider a padded bra to fill the dress a little better.

Crinoline-This is used under the dress to give the fill the bottom and make it puff out like you see on TV.

Petticoats-Similar to crinoline's except these are less stiff and are often more comfortable. Try both and see which one feels and looks best. You will also want to try on different sizes to make sure it fits the dress just right.

Slip-For sheer and delicate dressers you will want to wear a slip, especially if it will be outdoors. This will help protect you from any embarrassing moments. Also make sure the slip stays put and does not rid the leg or up the abdomen.

Garter-This is a traditional strap worn high on the thigh. This is optional but many women wear it so that it can be taken off during reception festivals.

Stockings-This is an absolute must. No matter how big and puffy your dress it, at some point during the reception someone will get a glance of your legs and your photographer just might get a couple shots with a little showing and legs that do not have stockings just look out of place .

Shoes-There are a lot of shoe options and you need to keep a couple things in mind when choosing them. First make sure they will keep you about 3-5 inches shorter then you spouse. If you have a full length gown make sure the shoes do not make you so tall that it comes off the floor, making it look tacky. The last thing is to make sure they are comfortable, because you will be wearing them for hours.
