Hawaii Christmas Gift Ideas

[ad_1]

Need to buy a gift for someone who loves Hawaii or someone who is going to Hawaii? Here’s some awesome Christmas gift ideas to point you on your way.

Hawaiian Christmas Tree Ornaments – you can get Santa on a dolphin in his briefs (I have that one), or anything with Santa looking like he is in Hawaii. They make these really awesome large glass balls that they paint from the inside with ocean scenes or Hawaii plant scenes. They usually come with their own box and are just gorgeous. We buy one every year.

Smelly stuff There are lotions and perfumes and bath salts scented in dozens of tropical scents – like lilikoi and guava and plumeria and hibiscus. Candles with these types of tropical scents also work well.

Gift wrap I don’t know if you would give gift wrap as a gift, but maybe you would if it were this beautiful. There’s red and green gift wrap with red ginger torches on green backgrounds and green tropical wreathes on red backgrounds.

Kitchen stuff You can get pineapple shaped bowls and hibiscus shaped bowls and elegant things made out of Koa wood.

Aloha shirts or dresses Hawaiian print clothing will always stand out and put smiles on faces.

Hawaiian Flower Baskets These are easy and wonderful to look at, and the best part is, unlike most other flowers, Hawaiian flower baskets can last for weeks. The anthuriums and other waxy flowers do not die in days. You might also consider a live orchid.

Vacation Spending If you know someone going to Hawaii you could buy them a discount card or a coupon book for the islands. You could get a gift certificate at a store or restaurant you know is on the island they will be on. You could pay for their rental car or gift them a rental car upgrade (oooh nice). You could call their hotel and see what kind of amenities or upgrades are available that you could pay for. You could upgrade them to first class on the airplane (ooooh, even nicer!) You could even put together a little basket with sunscreen, waterproof cameras, and sunhats.
