One of the most expensive parts about going to Disneyland is the lodging. To help save money on where you will be staying you want to avoid the Disneyland Resort hotels because they cost a lot more than other local hotels. There are plenty of local hotels within easy driving or walking distance to the park that are reasonably priced.
How you purchase your tickets for the park can also end up costing you more than it should. When purchasing your tickets the last thing you want to do is pay for them as part of a package because it ends up costing you more. Instead, what you want to do is order your tickets separately through Disney Travel directly.
