If your location is prior to extremes of weather such as hurricanes or monsoons, it would be advisable for you to avoid those seasons.
Regarding the reception, it is advisable to have a ceremony venue at a less than a 15-minute drive away from your beach. You may be able to erect a marquee close to the beach and these can be adorned with beach theme decorations for a very small amount of money.
Last but not least, you need to choose the right attire for your beach wedding. You should go for a more casual look, while avoiding heavy materials. A great idea for the groom is to wear a comfortable linen shirt, paired with some black trousers, for example. Ladies should avoid having the dress too long, because it will get dirty and will fill with sand.
