Morphsuits are one of the coolest and most creative inventions that I’ve seen in a long time. I first discovered them when I was looking for something really outrageous to wear to a football game at my college. I’m always in the rowdiest crowd in the student section and it’s our job to be the ones to pump up the crowd and the players. I found the morphsuits online and I thought they were so amazing. I ordered one in our school colors and I wore the red one first to the very first game of the year.
Nobody could tell who I was until I started talking, and then they recognized me. It was such a weird, almost surreal experience. I could see out of the suit and breathe just fine, but nobody could see into the suit. I was completely covered, literally. My face, head, torso, arms, hands, legs and feet were covered by the suit. It was really cool.
As the game went on and we were cheering like crazy, my friends asked me what I was wearing underneath the Morphsuit. I was only wearing my briefs. I tried it on with my pants and shirt under it, but I looked all lumpy and misshapen, so I just went in my underwear. But, like I said, nobody could see in, so they didn’t know that I was just in my underwear under the suit.
As the games went on throughout the season, more and more of my buddies in the Rowdy Crowd started wearing the morphsuits too. Some of us were in red, some were in white; there were even a select few who decided to get the USA flag designed morphsuit. It’s been cool experiences seeing everyone look exactly the same at the games; it’s as if we’re not human, but monsters and we intimidate our opponents.
I also wear my morphsuit at frat parties, dances and I’m going to wear it sky diving this coming summer. I’ve been skydiving before, but not in a morphsuit and I’m really excited. The best part is that they take your picture and film it as you skydive, so I will be able to remember the experience forever.
One thing that I love about the morphsuit is that it is made of spandex so it fits very comfortably and I can wash it in the washing machine. It’s so easy to maintain. I’ve drank through it before and sometimes there’s a little stain by my mouth, but I just pop it in the washer and it comes clean. I’ve definitely been able to get my money’s worth out of my suit. There are so many styles and designs to choose from, and I want to try them all.
When I’m wearing my morphsuit, I keep my money and stuff inside my shoe or sock. I think I may try wearing a fanny pack to make carrying my cell phone and wallet easier. I love that I don’t have to worry about whether or not I look good in my morphsuit, it’s just for fun
