We have been using sheepskin for centuries. We have been using wool for even longer! It would seem that the sheep itself is a very useful animal! Sheepskin boots fist became popular in the early 2000's when a company called UGGS became an almost overnight hit. no one could have ever guessed that these boots from Australia would become such a huge hit in the USA and Europe. They were featured on Oprah as one of her must have Christmas items in 2007 and that has ensured them a place in just about every closet in America.

They are made from sheepskin (fluffy bit on the inside of course) and usually have a synthetic sole. As said before they will keep your feet warm in winter yet cool in summer making them the perfect all weather boots. They also suit pretty much everything! You could wear them with jeans or trousers or shorts, they will all suit the style!

One style trend that is strong at the moment is a pair of sheepskin boots with skinny jeans. This makes your legs look even skinnier by putting these chunky boots on the bottom! You can choose to wear them normally or you can fold them down to make them look like ankle boots, the choice is up to you. Sheepskin boots are available in almost all shops and can be found online so shop around to find the right pair for you that fit into your budget as well!
