There are many kinds of wedding dresses. Most of them in the Western world are made of white fabric, and are designed in various formats, such as Chiffon, Ball Gown, Silk and many more. There's also the Mermaid shape gown that is fitted completely to the knee, where it widens out. Such a dress is sure to look beautiful and elegant, particularly if you are not too skinny. So, here's your opportunity to show off in a beautiful wedding gown. Do not try this if you have a short waist though.

If you do not have a big bust, you could try the Empire Waist dress. It firmly fits your bust line, and the bodice will fall straight. This design has remained popular for more than a century, and is used even today. The fabric will create an illusion of a larger chest, and the straight lines will make you look thinner. It is even recommended if you have the perfect hour glass figure. Or you may want to try the Princess style as well. The flared skirts and tapered tops look perfect on those who are heavier at the hips and the waist. You can certainly look sleek in this. These wedding dresses come with beads and embroidery that lets you flaunt the style.

Of course, the choice of the dress, and its material, depends heavily on how much money can be spent on it, or how much the bride's family is willing to spend.

The rich and the famous will not telllose how much they earn, or spend on special occasions, but they are not hesitant about showcasing their wealth at the wedding. So the best possible dress is always chosen. The money is not a problem at all.

But this does not mean, good wedding dresses can not be accepted at a lower price. You will certainly not have to spend a fortune to get something really good.
