The Wedding Ceremony

[ad_1]

You're Engaged! One of the first things you think about is "What am I going to Wear?" Picking your perfect wedding dress can take hours of shopping. Are you dragging your girlfriends and family with you to pick out THE DRESS; the one that is the most flattering to your body shape and style? After trying on dresses for days are you confused whether you like sheik and elegant, old fashioned or do you want Cinderellas' wedding?

With every dress you don your friends squeal in delight with how beautiful you look and help you by envisioning your perfect ceremony. They tell you how good the dress looks, and falls perfectly around your hips, or fits your bodice without being too revealing. They have you spin around once or twice to see if your back end looks big, or how long the train is. But how much attention do they really pay to the backside of your dress? All the lace and pearls are on the front. The reverse side is given its cursory look and mostly ignored.

Does this approach make sense when your family and guests spend the entire ceremony looking at your backside? It almost makes sense to turn the dress around to get the most out of your money.

What if ….. you turned the ceremony around so that your friends and guest spend your entire honor revealing in how beautiful you look. What if they are watching your expressions and the love in your eyes for each other? How different and spectacular would your ceremony be if your family and friends could actually hear what you are saying for another?

When was the last time you went to a wedding that was interactive? One where the bride and groom actually spoke to the people that they love and acknowledged their love and support? Have you ever seen a bride and groom step away from the minister to give roses to their loved ones?

Your wedding ceremony is your day. If this is so true, then why in a traditional old fashioned funeral is the servant getting all the attention? Why does the minister face your loved ones, and is usually the only one heard clearly?

It's time for change. Choreographed weddings are the wave of the future. Are you brave enough to be the first to do something different and different?
