The Hourglass style of dress often has a defined top, thin waist and busting middle. The dress may either plain and simple or be decorated with complete embroidery. This style of wedding clothing is perfect for a bride with large bust, thin waist and usual hips as it will effectively show off her sexy curves.

One very classic design is the A-line cut of dress. As its name implies, the form of the dress resembles the letter 'A'. The Sheath wedding dress of closely fitted design has a hem that usually stops right above the knees. Simple materials are mostly used to create this dress style that is meant to flaunt a woman's sexy figure without too much details. This is an excellent dress style that puts an accent on long legs and slender hips.

The Empire-waist dress, a centuries-old well-liked design, is outlined to be neatly fitted around the bust line while the rest of the bodies is allowed to fall straight. This wedding dress style is perfect for brides with smaller busts and slightly perfect hips. The illusion of a larger breast is provided for by the dividing line in the fabric, plus it makes the figure of the one wearing it to have a thinner figure.

The Column or Straight Cut shows like an evening dress but is white rather than the usual black. A Gathered Skirt is one with pleats and folds at the waist or hip level or the point where the skirt meets the bodice. This dress looks like the dresses worn by princesses in fairy tales. Tall and slim figured young brides will bring justice to this kind of wedding dress as in will strengthen their hips and will make them look a bit smaller due to the absolute volume of the skirt.
