What Style Wedding is Right For You?

[ad_1]

What kind of wedding style fits you? Are you the classic wedding type? Having your ceremony in a chapel or church is still the most popular style of wedding. But other types are gaining popularity as well. The beach, a backyard or park has become sites for a more casual wedding. While the setting will influence the overall look of the event, you should always let your personal style shine through.

Here are some styles. You decide which is right for you.

CLASSIC:

If you're the type of bride that is not into the hottest trend or fad then having a classic wedding is probably right for you. It is timeless and elegant. Most brides wear the classic gown with a big skirt and a train when choosing this style of wedding.

CONTEMPORARY:

Contemporary speaks of simplicity and sophistication. Here is the wedding that is trendy or unique in its setting such as an old warehouse or blank space that you create into your own style. The gown is often very simple such as a silk sheath gown.

OUTDOOR:

This can be a wedding at the beach or in a meadow in the countryside. Nature is really the inspiration here. A gown of soft lace and a wreath of flowers in the brides hair is the perfect choice for this style of wedding. Even consider going barefoot.

FANCIFUL:

This is where you can let your imagination and creativity run wild. This is the wedding that is unique to the bride and groom. Sometimes set in their favorite restaurant or at the local zoo or amusement park. Whatever the setting it is one that is most unusual. The gown can reflect this as well as here, anything goes. No style of gown would be incorrect.

PERIOD:

What is more romantic then a Medieval or Elizabethan wedding with a knight in shining armor? Many couples choose to represent the past in their special day. Here period costumes for both men and women and the bridal party are a must. Even asking the guests to partake in the festivals by dressing in costume will add to the feel that one has stepped into another era.

We are lucky that we live in a time where tradition and boring are not the only option. The possibilities are endless and making your day reflect the uniqueness of you as a couple is closer then you think. Just create it!
