This hurricane season has been a disastrous one. While Hurricane Harvey’s devasting flooding is over, Texas and parts of Louisiana have an extremely long road to recovery. And, just a few weeks later, the Caribbean, Florida, and the Southeast were struck by Hurricane Irma. Most recently, Hurricane Maria was catastrophic for many parts of the Caribbean and Puerto Rico. People have lost everything and many are starting the process to rebuild their lives from scratch. Charitable giving has become a popular feature for many couples’ registries and if your wedding date is soon approaching, you and your wedding guests can make a difference for affected communities.

If you feel inclined to help the affected area recover and get back on their feet, here are some reputable charities and organizations that you can add to your wedding registry or include on your wedding website.
