One of the easiest ways to add a personal touch to your wedding is with a signature drink. But what if you’re on different ends of the spectrum when it comes to alcohol preferences? That’s why many couples opt to offer “his hers” drinks. And while it’s easy to find plenty of fruity drink recipes, it can be more of a challenge to find a unique mixed beverage with a masculine edgel. Here, 5 options that’ll satisfy his palate.
Braveheart
Ingredients:
2 oz. The Black Grouse
3 ½ oz. tomato juice (we love McClures Bloody Mary Mix)
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
½ oz. worcestershire
Pinch celery salt
Pinch fresh horseradish
Directions:
Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with a gherkin, pickled onion and piece of bacon.

That Scotch One
Ingredients:
1½ oz Cutty Sark Whisky
½ oz Cocchi Americano
¾ oz White Peppercorn, Hibiscus Honey Syrup
¾ oz lemon juice
2 dash Peychauds Bitters
Boylan Creme Float
Muddled strawberry
Mint sprig garnish
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except the Boylan Creme in a Collins glass. Top with a Boylan Creme float and garnish with a sprig of mint.

The Inside Scoop
Ingredients:
2 oz. Jägermeister
4 oz. root beer
1 spray or 1 drop orange blossom water
1 scoop vanilla Ice cream
Directions:
Mix the Jägermeister, root beer, and orange blossom water. Top with ice cream and serve.

German Vacation
Ingredients:
1 oz. Jägermeister
1 oz. Flor de Caña 4-year gold rum
¾ oz. ginger syrup
¾ oz. Orgeat
¾ oz. lemon juice
Heavy dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
Directions:
Shake with a few pebbles. Pour over fresh pebble ice in a swizzle glass. Mound more on top like a snow cone and “paint” with Peychaud’s. Ahoy!

Tigers Love Pepper
Ingredients:
1½ oz. The Black Grouse
½ oz. Lime Juice
¾ oz. Black Pepper Hibiscus Cordial*
Ginger beer
Lime wheel for garnish
Black Pepper Hibiscus Cordial: Combine 1 cup water with 2 cups sugar and 1 oz. of dried Hibiscus flowers and bring to a boil in a small sauce pan, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Allow to cool and strain. Add 1 TBS cracked black pepper and mix well.
Directions:
Combine The Black Grouse and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass and top with Ginger Beer. Add the slice of lime and drizzle the Black Pepper Hibiscus Cordial into the glass.
