Comedian Amy Schumer crashed a wedding and what happened next is just as epic as you’d expect!
Comedy Central’s breakout star was in Dublin, Ireland, promoting her box office hit Trainwreck with director Judd Apatow. Time reports that on August 14th, they visited Grogan’s Pub, where they sidled up next to newlyweds Eithne McAdam and J.P. Swaine, who were sharing a pint with their wedding party. A rowdy sing-a-long to “The Auld Triangle” (a classic Irish folk song), ensued:
Coincidentally, Glen Hansard from the Irish band The Frames was also there, making the unexpected performance all the sweeter for the bride and groom.
This actually isn’t the first time that the Emmy-nominated actress (and notorious prankster) made an impromptu appearance on a couple’s special day. Back in June, she photobombed a couple’s photoshoot in Central Park. According to People, she yelled, “Oh my god! Are you taking engagement photos? Let me get in one!” The grooms-to-be obliged, thinking it was a wacky stranger, and it wasn’t until after she took off her sunglasses that they realized who she was.
