“You may now kiss…” the floor?

Talk about unfortunate timing — a bridesmaid fainted at her brother’s wedding just as he went to lock lips with his new wife! Photographer Sean Cook captured the comical moment on film, and the groom, Kevin Kennedy Ryan, posted it to Imgur, where it has over two million views (and counting).

“As we were leaning in, you just heard this huge thud,” Ryan tells ABC News. He assumed his sister Grace had tripped over something, but it wasn’t until later on that he and his bride, Jessica Ryan Smith, realized she was passed out. (The ceremony lasted no more than 20 minutes, but she hadn’t consumed enough food and drinks that day.)

The wedding took place on July 25 at the Ravenwood Event Center in Chicago, and it was blistering hot. “We’d all been standing in the sun doing pictures…I know I was dripping with sweat,” Ryan says.

Aside from a nick on her chin and a tiny cut under her eye, Grace was fine, and now the newlyweds have a crazy story to tell their grandkids someday.
