Celebrity Hair Stylists Weigh-in On Meghan Markle Wedding Predictions

[ad_1]

Time will tell how bride-to-be Meghan Markle will wear her hair on her big-day. While we await her royal debut, we asked celebrity hairstylists to weigh-in on how they think Markle will wear her hair as she heads down the aisle.

“I think she’ll have more than one hairstyle for the day…if her hair is up, it’ll be in a bun at the nape of the neck,” said Head & Shoulders Celebrity Stylist, Sunnie Brook Jones.

Below, Brook Jones gives a step-by-step guide to getting a royal up-do.

Royal Wedding Hair Prediction Up

To get the look:

1. Part damp hair down the middle with a fine tooth comb and blow dry hair

2. Back comb the roots at the crown of the head

3. Secure the hair at the nape of the neck into a low ponytail

4. Wrap the ends to create a bun and bobby pin the hair in place

My go-to product to prep for this style is the Head & Shoulders Smooth & Silky Collection. It gives you a healthy scalp which is the perfect base for any wedding day style, and it leaves your hair soft, smooth and frizz-free for 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Hair Food celebrity Stylist Rebekah Forecast says Markle’s look is hard to predict. But, she does admit that there are a number of aspects of her life that she thinks will influence Markle’s hair for the ceremony.

“The dress and the designer will have their feelings as to how they would like the whole look to complement their creation,” Forecast says. “Meghan seems like the type of person that will want to push her look as much as possible. From what we have seen so far, she has a very individual personal style.” However, Forecast warns that the palace has a big part in approving the final look, which may entice Markle to keep things a bit more conservative.

For brides like Markle, with pride in their long locks, Forecast suggests leaving hair down, with a casual elegance.

“If you have beautiful hair that is your crowning glory, then don’t pull it back so you can’t see it,” she said. “Do a softer, more natural look that will make you feel like yourself.”

Forecast says the above princess braid style is perfect for keeping hair long and flowy, yet out of your face.

To get the look:

1. Once hair is dry, use a small amount of Hair Food Almond Oil & Vanilla Smooth Serum and comb through with your fingers. This will help keep frizz at bay, while adding smoothness to your strands.

2. Use a curling iron (if desired) to make some waves

3. Section off your hair at the top into as many sections as you’d like and twist downwards

4. Starting at either the left or right ear, start to braid each side until you get mid-way down your hair

5. Combine the braids to make one, consolidated braid.

6. Once the braid is complete, raise the twisted sections at the top so they stick out before the two parted braids start

7. Use ribbon or long elastics to define the look (if desired)

We are sure the future Mrs. will look stunning no matter how she wears her hair–flaunting her signature Markle Sparkle.
