Jeremy and Justice Stamper got married on August 1st, 2014 in a country-themed wedding in southwestern Virginia filled with sunflowers. Jeremy reminisces to ABC News that it was “absolutely perfect.” (The pair met at their Sunday school church back when they were just 10 and 11 years old, and they began dating in high school.)

Sadly, Justice has no recollection of that day; she lost her short-term memory in a car accident just 19 days after tying the knot. She was driving to meet Jeremy after work when another driver rear-ended her car, and she nearly died from the impact. Although she survived, she suffered multiple injuries and had to endure grueling physical therapy sessions.
About a month after the collision, she confessed to her husband that she couldn’t recall anything from their wedding, even after he tried showing her photos and video that were taken. “I was heartbroken and instantly said I would do it all again for her,” Jeremy writes on the couple’s Go Fund Me page that he set up to raise money for their vow renewal.
The Stampers’ celebration will take place on their one-year wedding anniversary at their original venue with 150 guests, the only difference being that the bride will wear a different wedding gown this time around. The moment that Justice is most looking forward to is seeing her groom’s face when she walks down the aisle.
Touched by their story, local companies have come to the couple’s rescue by donating photography, a wedding cake, and a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach.
