If the idea of jetting off to a far-flung locale and saying “I do” in an intimate ceremony with just your nearest and dearest (or even just the two of you!) sounds magical, then we’ve got quite the treat for you. Junebug Weddings just released the winners of their 2015 Best Destination Photography Awards, and the globetrotting collection highlights 50 awe-inspiring landscapes, from a sunset camel ride in Dubai to the Louvre pyramid in Paris. The finalists were selected out of 4,000 photos from 40 different countries.
“For this contest, we look at the balance between the beauty of a destination and the love between the couple, along with photos that showcase quality photography, beauty, technical excellence, and distinctive personality. One of the trends we noticed in our destination contest for this year is that Iceland is an extremely popular destination for photographers and their couples. It’s such a striking place and is home to a variety of landscapes and colors,” says Carrie Crooks, the General Manager and Editor-in-Chief of JunebugWeddings.com.
