A Smart Guide to Choosing a Wedding Limo

[ad_1]

If you are like most couples then you are probably eyeing that limousine for your wedding. And just like the others, you are still scouting for the cheapest service you can get.

While price should be a consideration when choosing a wedding limousine, it should not be the sole basis for choosing one. You do not gamble with your wedding day schedule just because you want the cheapest service.

Be smart. This should be the rule of thumb when choosing a limousine or anything for that matter. Being smart means taking into consideration all the important factors that may affect your enjoyment or use of the vehicle.

While vintage cars are a hit, make sure the car you are renting is still in working condition. If you know a thing or two about cars or you know someone who does then maybe you can go check out the fleet of the company. Make sure that the model you chose and paid for is indicated in the signed contract to avoid any surprises during the wedding day.

Check the company's insurance and business permits. A reputable service provider will have such documents on display in their office or will have them ready for their clients. Also check if the company has commercial insurance. These documents will more or less assure you that you are not getting the services of a fly-by-night company.

Choose a company that is affiliated with the National Limousine Association or other industry associations. Membership in any reputable association is proof that it intends to stay long in the business so they will make sure that they serve their clients properly.

Does the company own the fleet or are they just subcontracting the service? It is often best to deal with real companies and not subcontractors to make sure you get the best service for your wedding. There are a lot of websites advertising that they have a fleet of limousine and other vintage wedding cars but in reality they just broker for another company. This means they do not have full control over the vehicle, which leaves you in a risky situation.

The smartest thing you can do once you have chosen a company is to finalize the transaction and have the agreement printed in a contract. Once the contract is signed, you can now relax and concentrate on the many other aspects of wedding planning.
