Creating That 'Special Day'

[ad_1]

If you're about to have a wedding, then planning is everything. There is not much worse than trying to create the perfect day for you and a loved one only to have it fall apart at your feet. It would be a bad start to your marriage to leave the wedding upset at one another that things did not go as arranged, best not to start off on the wrong foot. When planning a wedding in Phoenix, it's important to keep a few things in mind.

1. When

First, it's important to plan what time of year you're going to have it. As the saying goes, timing is everything, especially in Phoenix. A winter wedding in phoenix would be great for either indoors or outdoors. The weather is good enough to not melt your guests outside, and it's just as comfortable if you choose an indoor location. If you're a teacher, or student then sometimes a summer wedding would be the best choice. And as for the day of the week, keep your guests in mind. Sundays and Saturdays could be out of the question if there are many Jewish and Christian guests on account of their Sabbath days.

2. Budget

The next thing to plan about your wedding would be the financial aspect. Setting your budget will allow you to plan location, catering, and decorations. Talk about how much each of you have saved, and can continue to save up until the wedding. If at all possible, talk to each of your parents to determine how much money they would like to contribute if any. If you spend much with credit cards, be sure to pay those off! Expensive weddings can be good, but sometimes a small quaint wedding is better for the guests

3. Party!

Another important aspect of the wedding would be the wedding party. Bridesmaids and groomsmen do much more than just stand at the front during the ceremony. It's best to get them involved as early as possible so they can help with setting up, and offer ideas on planning aspects.

4. Location

This next one could be one of the hardest things to agree on between the engaged: location. Location is key, especially in Phoenix. Location is more than just an address; keep in mind whether it's indoors or outdoors. Be sure to match the dress code to the location, shirt and ties for outdoor, jackets for indoors. Also, remember that the location needs to be easy to reach. If you have guests from out of town, keep the location central to a popular hotel, attraction, or airport.

5. Services

Last, and probably the most important would be the various vendors. Video, photography, and catering are the big ones to keep in mind. There are plenty of local choices around Phoenix for all the vendors. It's very important to pick the correct catering because it's through the food that your guests will base a major part of their enjoyment on. You always are listening about weddings, and following whether or not the ceremony was good is typically a statement about the food. Give the guests options prior to arriving, so you know exactly how much to spend on what types of food.
