Laser engravings are faster and cheaper than hand made ones. You can also have multiple lines of text with the laser. But if uniqueness is not a matter of concern then you can just buy one from the jewelry shop that specializes in bridal rings.
Photography can not be left out. You need the pictures for your records. Book the photographer early and outline the wedding program to him. Look at his previous samples and judge if they fit your theme. You can cut down costs by booking early and limiting the number of photos to be taken.
