How to Plan a Fun Wedding

[ad_1]

Creating your own vows is one way to make your wedding day fresh, fun and personable. The key is to not let the writing process overwhelm you. You do not need to be a poet. Simply be honest, write down how you feel about your spouse and the prospect of spending the rest of your life together. Some aspects of your relationship to think about can be when you met, how you felt before you met, how your love inspires you, what your love has taught you, how your love is unique and what do you look forward to in the future. Sharing these vows during your ceremony can be one of the funnest and most romantic things you can ever do for each other. It is something that will be 100% unique to your wedding.

Your wedding reception is the first official gathering put on by you and your spouse. It celebrates the marriage and allows your guest to have fun right along with you. It is just as much for them as for anyone. Many times the reception will go on well after you and your spouse have left for the honeymoon. Your reception plans can come from a mixture of dramatic flare and fantasy. Think of the funnest setting you have been to and try to recreate that atmosphere.

Your reception can be the funnest part of your wedding if done right. The location of the reception will influence other decisions about decorations and lighting. Also the food you serve may effect these decisions too. There are six components that make up a fun wedding reception. They include the location, decorations, food / refreshments, music, dancing and physical comfort. These components are established by the location. If you have an outdoor reception or the space you have chosen is a blank slate then you will have to start from scratch but you do not have to worry about incorporating preexisting decor into you design.

It can be a good idea to rent some of you larger accessories to save money and get more in your reception. Some items that can be rented that will add to the atmosphere of your reception are lighting, drapes, furnishings and place settings. Place settings should match your over all theme, such as elaborate or simple. Drapes come in a wide variety of fabrics and colors. Other items that can just be purchased such as flowers or balloons can be added for additional fun. You can match your flowers to the wedding or make your reception have a theme of its own. Balloons are a fun additional touch.
