We love a real wedding!
As the temperatures in the north start cooling off, we are excited to throwback to this summer wedding.
Back when the sun was out, and the temperature was hot, Alecia and Travis tied the knot. Submitted by a bridesmaid, we stroll down memory lane and relive Alecia and Travis’s special day:
“When we found out that Alecia and Travis were getting married, we were so excited. Alecia has been a friend since grade school, and she’s always been the dependable and strong one of the group. When Alecia introduced us to Travis, we knew he was the one.
Travis has a way of making everyone in the room smile. He has this energy about him, and he compliments Alecia so well. Both MSU alumni, it made total sense to have the wedding on campus.
Outdoor weddings are typically beautiful, and this was no different. In fact, our only complaint was that it was the HOTTEST day of the year.
With such a large bridal party, we were nervous that pictures were going to take a long time, and we’d be left to melt outside, but our photographer literally saved the day. Not only was every shot planned out in advance, but she was also so kind and quick. We ended up only having to be outside for a short while, and the result was these stunning photographs.
The ceremony was perfect. Even though it was extremely hot, we barely felt the heat as Travis and Alecia said their vows to one another. I think one of the most unique and special touches of the ceremony was that their dogs were present. Alecia has always been a huge advocate for animals, and she even spends her free time working for Canines For Change, a charitable organization that helps train and pair service dogs with people who need them. The pups definitely stole the show!
Looking back on the day, I don’t think we could have changed anything. Everything was perfect, just like Alecia and Travis.
