Top 5 Things To Include In A Wedding Planning Checklist

[ad_1]

So you are getting married and there is a lot that need to be planned. The only way you can do it all and still remain sane is to make a wedding planning checklist. This checklist should include everything you have to do for your wedding with deadlines that they need to be done by. Without a checklist of some kind, you might go off on a tangent planning the flowers and have forgotten to even send the invitations out! But how do you know if you have left something out? What are the most important things to include? We have the answers.

1. Dates. The dates for everything you need to complete must be on your checklist. This will let you know what needs to be done in what order and it will help you stick to it so that everything is ready within plenty of time and there is no stressing. Aim to have everything done at least a week before the wedding, so you can relax a bit and focus on your special day. Do not spend the night before your wedding folding place cards.

2. Bookings. The bookings for the venue must be done as soon as possible, before you even send out your invitations. The other bookings of the DJ, flowers, linens, hairstylists, cake maker, and dress fittings must also be done promptly. Do not leave anyone out.

3. Food. If you are having food at your wedding, make sure you know what it is and plan it well before the time. Decide on your three course meal, finger foods and platters and ensure that this is within your budget, as it is the most expensive wedding item.

4. Clothes. Get your designer, do your fittings or go shopping. Make sure you do not leave this too late otherwise you will end up grabbing the first thing you find and it might take a few tries before you find the perfect dress you want. Ensure that the groom's and groom's men outfits are hired and that your bride's maids have their outfits organized.

5. Invitations. This will be one of the first things on your wedding planning checklist and do not leave this too late. The normal time frame is to send wedding invitations at least three months in advance.
