Wedding Mistakes to Avoid When Planning Your Wedding

[ad_1]

When planning your wedding, although it is going to be your special day, there are certain mistakes that you will want to avoid in order to make the occasion special so that it holds all the pleasant memories that you expect.

One mistake that you will want to avoid is to have an alternate plan if you are planning an outdoor wedding. Rain storms can raise without any notice and not being prepared can turn your special day into a day filled with tears and disappointment. Having a Plan B will provide you with a way to overcome a sudden rainstorm or any type of change in the weather that occurs on your big day.

Another mistake that you do not want to make is to break the budget that you have set. Breaking the budget can cause a lot of stress on those responsible for paying for the wedding and if that falls on yourself then it can put a big damper on your day. When you mind is on how you are going to pay off your wedding debt you will not be able to enjoy the day the way that you should.

Keep your wedding party to a minimum, the less people you have in the wedding party the less stressed you will be. The more people in the party the more opinions you will have and you may not like all of the opinions that are put before you. You may consider having a maid of honor and a couple of bridesmaids instead of having a maid of honor and 8 to 10 bride's maids.

Be a considerate and gracious hostess. Make sure that your wedding party knows you expectations and do not leave your guests standing around in the hot sun or the cold wind while you take your wedding photos. Have plenty of refreshments for you guests to enjoy while the bride and groom take care of photos or changing into other clothing. Remember to thank your guests for attending as well as to greet each of the guests personally. Let them know how glad you are that they were able to come and how important their presence was to you.

The day before the wedding, do not get introxicated. This can make the wedding day less enjoyable than you had intended it to be. A bride that is hung over can make for a fussy bride. Being introxicated can cause you to have a headache the next day or to feel tired and worn out. Keep your pre-wedding plans fun but leave out the alcohol.

By being aware of a few simple guidelines, you can be confident that your ceremony will turn out as beautifully as you planned. Knowing what to avoid ahead of time helps prevent things that seem like a minor problem from becoming huge messes.
