Wedding Planning Check List – 6 to 3 Months Before the Wedding

[ad_1]

Wedding planning check list will help you to prepare for your wedding. Wedding planning needs a careful approach because it involves a lot of important details. In fact, it is better not to try to keep all the little details in mind, but to try to write down as much of them as you can, and to cross each one out after its completion. Below is a wedding planning check list that may prove very useful for your wedding planning:

6 Months before the Wedding:

o Determine the approximate date of your wedding.

o If you are going on a honeymoon right after the wedding, check the dates of the flights. Keep in mind that the majority of flights depart on weekends.

o Locate information about companies that provide wedding services, and start to explore them.

o Start visiting various wedding websites on the Internet.

o Calculate your approximate budget for your wedding.

o Think about getting the parents acquainted with each other (if you have not already done so).

o Draw up a rough guest list and calculate the number of invitations.

o Draw up your honeymoon plans.

o Visit a beauty salon, receive the necessary guidance

o Start managing a spreadsheet of income and expenses on your computer.

3 Months before the Wedding:

o Select the style of your wedding dress and start visiting bridal shops.

o If you are going to have a custom-made dress, then select the studio and discuss every little detail of your dresses tailoring. You probably will need to go to the bridal shop a couple of times for the pieces.

o Buy wedding rings at a jewelry store.

o Consider the program for your wedding day.

o Prepare and approve the official list of guests for the wedding.

o Finalize your choices of Best Man and Maid of Honor, and all those who will play their roles in your wedding.

o Buy or order your wedding invitations.

The above checklist will help you schedule all the things that need to be done 3 to 6 months prior to your wedding. There also are things that need to be done closer to your wedding date, such as: selecting a photographer and a videographer, selecting the music, band or a DJ for your wedding, starting to send the invitations to your guests, and so on. In general, the more detailed your wedding planning check list is, the greater the chance of a smooth wedding celebration.
