Wedding Planning Guide: Everything You Need to Know to Plan the Perfect Wedding

[ad_1]

Congratulations! You just got engaged, now what? Where do you begin? Just thinking about planning a wedding is overwhelming is not it? There is so much to do and there never seems to be enough time to get it all done. Every bride-to-be needs some kind of wedding planning guide or handbook. Even better would be a step by step instruction manual. So much goes into planning a wedding that it would be crazy not to have one.

Luckily you live in a day and age where information is everywhere and at your disposal. There are so any resources you can use to compile into your very wedding planning guide. You can start by asking friends or family members that have recently been married to share their experience about planning a wedding. If you are getting married in the same city, they can also give you great advice about which vendors to use. Bridal magazines can also be a great resource for ideas. There are plenty of information online if you know where to look. Try going to some wedding forums or wedding information sites. There you will be able to get recommendations from other brides and checklists that you can use when planning your own wedding.

If you feel that the wedding planning is best left to the professionals, you can hire a wedding planner to take care of all the little details. There will be no need to follow a wedding planning guide, they probably have years of experience on their hands and plenty of connections to make sure you end up having a wedding you've always dreamed of. This option is great if you can afford a wedding planner, they do most of the work so you do not have to stress about it. If there is no room in your budget to hire a wedding planner however, you will need to do a lot of research and carefully plan out your own guide.

Remember that every wedding is different, so there is no guide that will apply to each and every couple. The resources online may suggest that you start planning your wedding 12 to 16 months before the big day, but you might not have that much time on hand. Or for the theme of your wedding, a certain type of cake is recommended that is way out of your price range. The important thing is to take all these ideas and turn them into something that is suitable for your own wedding. There is no need to do exactly what someone else has done.

There are a couple of things you need to focus on before you do any kind of research or begin the wedding planning process. A proper wedding planning guide starts with knowing your budget and your wedding theme. After these two important factors are settled, you can then break down the planning process into a series of steps. Create a timeline so you have a handle on what comes before and after each step. With a budget and theme in mind, you can easily find exactly what you are looking for at the right price without second guessing your choices.
