The big day has come, and you are getting excited. The final touches are needed – what should you pack for your beach wedding?

Here are some tips:

· Pack the essentials

This will include your wedding dress; shoes; makeup items; emergency backup kit (eg sewing kit).

If your wedding dress is a gown, remember to carefully pack in protective covers to avoid damage to the dress. It is advisable to iron the dress first than o do it at the venue. So try not to create any ceases to the dress.

Check your shoes to ensure that they are in perfect condition. You would not want to go barefooted for the event.

· Things needed for the honeymoon

You would not want to over burden your luggage. Pack light beach wear plus flip flops to enjoy the honeymoon.

· Wedding Favors & Decorative Items

If the venue that you have booked does not include this in the package and if they are light, you might want to hand carry them over. If not, use a courier, eg DHL or Fed Ex to send the favors together with the decorative items needed; eg centerpiece / wine over to the venue.

Remember to pack the fragile items in protective bubble wraps to avoid breaking them.

· Travel Documents

If the venue is abroad, remember to pack the travel document s and passports for you and your spouse. You would not want to have the last minute jitters to realize that you have left the passports or air tickets at home!

With the above, you should be well geared for your big event! Sleep early and rest pretty! The day is yours!
