After the wedding is over, a wedding reception is definitely needed to show your gratitude to those who attended the wedding. However, you probably have sent most of your money on your grand wedding or your wedding suit / dress. You might have also ran out of ideas as all the best ideas that you had had been given to your wedding. Then again, a wedding reception not necessary have to be grand, all you need to do is let your visitors sense your hospitality.
I will be telling you a simple and affordable way to prepare for your wedding reception.
Let's keep things simple!
1. Balloons. Use balloons to decorate your venue instead of flowers and you can save up on a lot of money. Balloons also made the venue look livelier.
2. Paper streamer, buntings, banners. Use these to decorate your ceilings and walls. Those are a good way to liven up the venue. And despite a banner to welcome your visitors or to celebrate the marriage of a newly-wed couple.
3. Candles. Use these to light up the venue and it will look so much different from the usual room lighting.
4. Lanterns. Since we have candles why not try lanterns too? Hang them around the house or even outside of your house to indicate to your visitors a sign of where the venue is.
5. Fairy lights. They are pretty and excellent decoration material for your wedding reception.
6. Flowers. Yes, flowers are expensive. That is why before you throw the flowers away from your wedding; you can use them one last time for your wedding reception!
7. Glass cups pyramid. They can be used to pour wine to celebrate as well. They will serve as a replacement for a fountain or sculpture if you can not afford one.
Other than that, you can do decorations based on the season that your wedding was held on. Bright colors can be used during spring; neutral colors best presents summer, sunset colors look best when used during autumn and lighter colors will go fine during winter.
Wedding reception can be made without using much of your expenses! You can always find things in the house to decorate the venue. However, less money money means more time will be spent on decorating the venue. But that is all in the fun parcel of wedding is not it? You can always get a few helping hands to help you decorate the venue.
The tedious part is over and you do not have to stress yourself over the wedding reception. Just decorate the venue in whatever ways you and your spouse like instead of thinking what others might like. Remember, the main characters are you and your spouse! And remember to keep a light-hearted mood; it brightens the day up for yourself and others too!
