An Out Door Wedding Idea

[ad_1]

I recall our daughter's outdoor wedding. It was a beautiful morning in the park.

Sitting on my bin of decorations, exhausted, after a long trek up a park pathway. As I sat on the bin to catch my breath, I remembered why my daughter chose this park for her outdoor wedding. There were shadows dancing in the grass under the majestic trees that surrounded the wooden gazebo. In a distance I could see the sunlight sparkling across the tropical like, turquoise water, and there was a perfect rose arbor near by.

As I scanned the picturesque setting, An image grew in my mind of how it would look. With the decorations in place and the white chairs ready for guests, there was enough room for a runner down the middle for an isle between the chairs. The gazebo was perfect for the food tables. The trees cave great shade for the reception tables. This was the morning of the big day and we were going to do everything possible to make a dream come true for our daughter.

Planning a wedding should be fun and exciting, but it can get stressful when things do not go as planned.

There are usually a ton of questions that come to mind when planning a wedding. One of those questions is, do I go with real flowers or silk flowers?

We chose silk flowers for one big reason. I never had to worry about wilting. It was the most convenient, because they could be created weeks before the wedding. The wide range of colors available make it so convenient for arranging bouquets in desired shades. This way the arrangements were all very unique and personally custom made. They were as fresh on the wedding day as they were the day I made them. I purchased the flowers at craft stores, dollar stores and department stores. A lot of them I got on sale, which was great for the wedding budget. You may want to plan a wine and cheese party with your bride's maids and work on the arrangements together.

Make memories, and take lots of pictures to add to your wedding photo album. I hung each bouquet on my craft room wall has it as finished. My craft room had such an exciting ambiance, and of course my guests were intrigued. I also created trailing flowers to hang on the sides of the chairs along the middle of the isle. I bought some huge urns and made some long stemmed silk arrangements for the walkway up the path to the ceremony location. After the ceremony was over, we set up the tables for the reception, I took the big urns of flowers and moved them to the head table.

After we had the flowers all arranged at the wedding site, no one asked whether they were real or not, they all looked beautiful.

I also thought of a another great idea. After I had all of the flowers arranged at the wedding site, I took some floral spotted oils and sprayed the flowers with it. Gardenia or Plum aria are nice ones. You want something strong and something with an oil base, because oil does not evaporate as quickly. The air around the wedding site smelled like a flower garden adding a unique ambiance.

I has also taken some of the silk flowers apart and incorporated them into the flower girl's dresses. Making appliques of the flowers and strategically attaching them to the bottom of their dresses. I had so much fun planning an arranging this wedding for my daughter that I thought I would like to share the experience with my readers. I hope some of the things I mentioned in this article will help to those of you that feel frazzled at the thought of planning an out door wedding.
