Choosing a wedding theme can be fun. These can be based on the season, cultural, humor or even be inspired by the venue, but one thing that they all do is make your wedding unique and one that will be remembered. This is because some themes may be alike but each couple has their own interpretation of it.
There are two points which you should consider before selecting your theme. One is there any suitable venues in your area that will meet your requirements or do you and guests have to travel some distance to get there.

2. Seasonal – This can be based on the four seasons spring, summer, autumn and winter as well as holidays and special days such as Valentine’s Day, 4th July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve.
3. Cultural – These are quite popular especially for couples of different cultural backgrounds and are quite interesting when the two cultures are combined for a wedding theme. Here are some examples; Asian, Indian, Irish, Italian and Spanish theme wedding.
4. Venue Inspired – These themes are usually based on the location of the wedding ceremony. For example the beach, country, garden, ocean, outdoor or a wine theme for a wedding in a vineyard.
5. Wedding Colors – A wedding color theme can be a creative and interesting in the way the colors are combined together.
6. Sports, Occupation and Interest – These can be based on the couples occupation, hobbies or interests such as baseball, firefighter, fishing, golf, hunting, picnic, star, Victorian and wine theme wedding.
The success of your chosen theme will largely depend on your creativity and by using the right materials to create the desired atmosphere. You should also be willing to improvise to make things work.
