Do not Forget: Valentines Day Is a Winter Holiday Too

[ad_1]

When we think of winter holidays we often get stuck at Thanksgiving and Christmas. But alas, Do not forget, Valentines Day is a winter holiday too.

Valentines Day is a holiday for love. What better occasion to incorporate into your wedding. Whether you choose to have your winter wedding on Valentines Day or not, you can still include the elements of the holiday and the season into your wedding.

Here are 4 ways to incorporate a Valentines theme into your wedding:

  1. Red. The color red is the color of love and is a color that we often think of when we think of Valentines. Utilize Red for your wedding favors, as decorative accents, flowers, and even as a part of your wedding centerpiece.
  2. Hearts. No matter the color theme of your winter wedding, you can use heart shaped table confetti to decorate your tables. You can also decorate your wedding reception and ceremony with hearts. There are a number of pieces that can either be used as subcont accents or you can use hearts as a major point in your winter wedding.
  3. Words. Never understimate the power of words. You can use Valentines related words and phrases such as Love, Kiss, and I Do in your wedding. You can use these words as a part of your invitations, thank you notes, save the date cards, and place cards.
  4. Candy . We all know that candy is a big thing for Valentines Day. Boxes of Valentines chocolates are a great guest favor. You can also get personalized heart shaped candies with your initials on them or special sayings that are dear to your heart.

These are just a few ways to remind your guests that Valentines is a winter holiday too.
