Let's face it, to most brides, wedding favors are a right royal pain in the back side! Choosing their wedding dress was not as difficult as choosing the perfect favors. So where can you look for inspiration?

Aside from the retailers, you will also be shown sites that offer up ideas, tips and advice. Some may be wedding directory sites, magazine style sites or blogs. Whatever they are all can give you loads of information and plenty of ideas – too many occasional!
If you have not done so already, then sign up to an online forum (or two). These sites are worth their weight in gold in terms of offering up ideas, inspiration and recommendations. They allow you to chat with other brides, professionals and anyone else with an interest in weddings, all of what can give you everything you are looking for and more.
Finally wedding magazines may have taken a back seat thanks to the internet, but they are still a reliable and valuable source of information, including top trends, the latest designs and plenty of inspiration. They can also offer exclusive deals, discounts and offers to their readers that can save you money too.
The important thing is to be pro-active with your wedding favors. Leaving it till late on in your wedding planning can lead you to make rash decisions which you may regret later on. Start your research early enough and although you may end up with more ideas than you know what to do with, it is always better to have too much than too little!
If you do find yourself trying to sort the wood from the trees then it is time to go back to your planning notes and look at the style of your wedding, your wedding theme if you are having one and your chosen wedding colors. You also need to refresh your memory of your favor budget.
Take out those that you can not match to your wedding style, theme or colors in any way. Take out those which do not fit with your wedding style or theme. Take out those which are just too expensive! That should narrow the list down enough for you to be able to make a firm decision. Of course external factors such as the item being out of stock or delivery taking longer than you have time for, will also influence your choice, so it is a good idea to give yourself a back up choice as well, just in case!
