Keep It Simple: You are not in a giant cathedral with marble floors; there is no reason to over-do the dress for the wedding. You and your significant other should discuss what the appropriate attire for your wedding is. Remember, the trick is to keep it simple, but still remain elegant enough.

Outdoor Receptions: Many individuals who have beach and outdoor weddings have their reception right outdoors afterwards. Barring bad weather, you could consider having an outdoor reception. It may be a pain to drag a few tables over some sand to set the food on, but it is probably better than spending hundreds of dollars to use a building for a few hours if you are on a tight budget.

Let the Natural Beauty Be Your Decoration: There is no need to over-do it with decorations if you are having a beach or other outdoor wedding. Your surroundings should be beautiful enough to where you will not have to put up a ton of decorations to make everything look nice. Put enough effort into decorating to show that you care, but not enough to take the focus off of the beautiful setting around you.
