Last Minute Wedding Favors – Beautiful Gifts For Your Guests on a Budget

[ad_1]

While you were busy going to dress fitting sessions, picking out the flowers and the cake, rehearsing your brides speech, you totally forgot about the wedding favors? Do not worry, you are not the first one! There are lots of different possibilities to find a nice and personal gift at the last minute!

If you do not want to spend a fortune on surcharges you might have to say good bye to the idea to personalized wedding favors such as candy with customized wrappers or candle holders with your name and date engraved. These items usually need a lead time of at least two to three weeks. While you might be able to get them made atorter notice, you will have to pay a hefty surcharge for the speedy production.

Why do not you prepare some candy? Everybody likes it, it is not too expensive and you can customize it yourself. Just buy nice gift bags or wrapping paper in a color and design that goes well with the table-decoration. Then buy candy like little chocolate-bars, hard candies in bulk or one exquisite bonbon per person if your budget allows it. Wrap them up or put them in the gift bags. Add a nice ribbon and you're done. Enlist the help of friends if you are running out of time.

Another option is to ask your florist if she can provide a single flower that matches the center piece for each guest. A flower might be a simple gift but it is very suitable for a wedding. It's classy and contributions to the decoration.

You may consider buying simple photo-holders for your guests, the ones that are made out of wire and a clip that holds the picture. If you are able to find one in the shape of a flower or a heart you have a wonderful and inexpensive wedding favor. Get some ribbon to match the decor of the table and tie a bow around the stem of each picture-holder. You might even add a few sugar-almonds wrapped up in cellophane. If you would like to personalize the gift you can clip a passport-size picture of the bride and the groom in the holder. In times of digital cameras you will be able to obtain these kind of photos in a question of half an hour, even if you need 200 copies.

Another nice idea is giving keys to your guests. Prepare a little note on cream-colored paper telling your guests that you hope to stay in touch with them as a married couple, and that you will always be there for them. Even though you do not want to give out big numbers of actual copies of your main-door key, the key serves a symbolic gesture that your guests will always be welcome in your new home.

So even if you left shopping for wedding favors you still can be able to get nice and persona gifts for your wedding guests!
