Low-Cost and Simple Centerpiece Idea

[ad_1]

With the economy in a slow state I have noticed that more and more couples are making sacrifices in their wedding to cut costs and keep their overall wedding budget low. That is why I wanted to share a inexpensive wedding centerpiece idea with you but once I started thinking I came up with a few so here they are.

Because the centerpiece is such a focal point of the evening I realized when coming up with ideas they had to still be glamorous and something that the guests would talk about. So I tried to think of things that added style, grace, color, and elegance to keep you reception the talk of the town.

The first centerpiece idea that came to mind was using food. I mean, why not, you can make some stunning pieces and then the centerpiece will not be a waste at the end of the night because you can take it home and eat it. When selecting what foods you want I would choose items that are bright and go well with you theme, like pears, plum, or lemons.

If you are having your wedding sometime in the fall then you can normally pick up a variety of gourds and pumpkins for cheap at a local market. Then you could use these with some twigs and leaves from outside to make some spectacular centerpieces. Or you could do heart-O-lanterns, instead of cutting a face out of a pumpkin carve little hearts, or wedding rings into the pumpkin and place a candle in it.

I went to a co-worker's wedding and her centerpiece idea was perfect, she only had it on 3 tables but it was perfect. If you are having a kid friendly wedding then use candy as your centerpiece. You can fill individual bowls with M & M's or Skittles. Or you can make trees out of hard candy and licorice or flowers out of licorice and gum drops. All you need to do is get creative and start making them.

Thinking of inexpensive centerpieces may be difficult sometimes but if you really let yourself get creative then you can create masterpieces that everyone will love.
